Ealing School Streets feedback consultation

This consultation has ended.

The consultation

A 'School Street' is a scheme where the roads outside or near a school are closed to most motorised traffic at school opening and closing times. Ealing's School Streets maintain access for residents and businesses located within the scheme area as well as pedestrians and cyclists.
These schemes were originally delivered to support social distancing, by removing unnecessary vehicular traffic from outside the school gates at the start/end of the school day. We also aimed to create an environment which encourages children to walk, scooter or cycle to school, with the added benefit of improving air quality and road safety in the area.

We are asking all stakeholders for their views on the existing Ealing School Streets.

Your views

We invite your views on the existing Ealing School Streets in your local area. These views will be taken into consideration when monitoring each scheme, to enable an informed decision to be made about their future.

Please select the survey that best suits your situation:

  •  Feedback from parents and carers
  •  Feedback from residents and businesses
  •  Feedback from school staff

This consultation will close on 28 May 2021.

What happens next?

The survey outcomes will be included in an evaluation report to be submitted to the council’s cabinet in summer 2021.
