The consultation

Ealing Council proposal to amalgamate (merge) Wood End Infant School and Wood End Academy. Ealing Council and both schools have carried out a consultation on the proposal to amalgamate Wood End Infant School and Wood End Academy to form a single primary school within the existing school buildings from 31 August 2021. 

Amalgamation is the joining of two schools into one, with a single governing body and head teacher, in this case achieved through the “closure” of the Infant School and the simultaneous expansion of the age range of the Junior School to form an all through primary school with a published admission number of 60 providing 420 places in total.
