People with a blue badge are exempt from camera enforcement within the low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) that they live in. This means residents who may be unable to walk or cycle, can drive through their LTN road closure.
Blue Badge holders must apply to register a vehicle to enter the closure without a penalty. You do not have to pay for the permit.
Blue Badge holders who drive through their LTN without having applied and received confirmation that their application was successful will be issued with a penalty charge notice.
There is no process available to enable Blue Badge holders that are without their own vehicle, or a specific vehicle to apply for the exemption.
