The consultation
Every year the council is required to determine the admissions arrangements for community schools and consult on any proposed changes. The council is also required to publish a draft of the revised policy and consult on any proposed changes with residents, other admission authorities and any other persons with an interest in the arrangements.
There are no proposed changes to the oversubscription criteria however, the local authority are consulting on a proposed reduction in the published admission number (PAN) at the below undersubscribed schools due to falling numbers for reception places.

Your views
We would like to hear from as many people as possible about the proposed changes. To take part in the consultation, please read the proposed admissions arrangements fully before completing a short survey to submit your views.
This consultation will be open until 28 December 2020.
What happens next?
Results of the consultation will be included in a report to the council’s members who will make the final decision on the admissions arrangements for 2022/23. These will be published on the council website on in spring 2021.
