Reading to your babies and toddlers is a wonderful way to increase language skills and helps children to understand their world.
Bookstart is the national programme offering packs of free books to all children living in the borough before they start school as well as guidance materials to every parent and carer.

- The Bookstart Baby pack for 0-12 months is available from your health visitor or can be collected from your local library
- The Bookstart Treasure gift for 3-4 year olds is available at your local library
