To ensure Ealing Council meets its responsibility as a tree owner, the Tree Service routinely inspects the 24,000 trees growing along the highways on a three-yearly cyclical basis.
Trees on highway land are currently inspected ward by ward. Up to eight wards are inspected each year. To see our current inspection schedule, please refer to our Ward Inspection Programme.
Inspections are undertaken by trained arboriculturists who identify any defects and hazards. Where necessary the inspectors will prescribe appropriate tree pruning to reduce risk and nuisance issues.
