Healthy child programme

Ealing Council commission health visiting and family nurse partnership services to support parents in the first few years of their child’s life, to promote good health and development.

Ealing 0-5 Know How provides useful information for parents of children under five years.

Ealing Council’s children’s centres provide a range of activities to promote child health and development.

Ealing Council also commission a school nursing service to support the health needs of pupils at state funded schools in the borough.
Child weight management
For families with children who are above a healthy weight, who live, work or go to school in the borough, the current Child Weight Management Programme will be undergoing changes but will include sessions on healthy eating, physical activity and behaviour change, in either one to one or group sessions.
