Ealing Council’s children’s centres provide a range of activities to promote child health and development.
Ealing Council also commission a school nursing service to support the health needs of pupils at state funded schools in Ealing.
Child weight management
The child weight management service supports children who are overweight and their families, who live, work or go to school in Ealing. Sessions cover healthy eating, physical activity and behaviour change, in either one to one or group sessions.
The NHS Choices website provides information and advice which can help young people and families to make informed lifestyle choices which have a positive impact on their health. It has information covering from birth to five years and from six to 15 years.
