Temporary permits (dispensations)

Dispensations are also called temporary permits and allow:

  • residents to park within their Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) when they are awaiting documentation to apply for an annual permit
  • residents to park within their CPZ when they are using a courtesy car
  • contractors and builders to park within a CPZ when they are carrying out works on a property
  • removal vans to park within a CPZ when carrying out removals.

Dispensations are issued only to residents within a CPZ, removal workers, builders and contractors. Either the builder or resident may apply.

How to apply

Applications made through the post or by by email suspensions@ealing.gov.uk take 10 working days to process from the date we receive your application. Applications can be processed in person at Perceval House. To apply, you must provide the following documents:

  • A fully completed parking dispensation application form.
  • Resident’s applying for a dispensation must provide a copy of either their mortgage document or tenancy agreement. This must show the names of all the tenants. We will also accept copies of council tax bills, bank statements or utility bills dated within the last three months.
  • If you are applying through the post you can pay by cheque or postal order.
  • If you are applying in person at Perceval House you can pay by credit/debit card.
  • If you send your application via email we will call you for payment and the dispensation will be posted once payment has been received.

The dispensation will then be issued to you once it has been processed and payment has been received.
