Authorities' Monitoring Report

What is the AMR?

The Authorities' Monitoring Report (AMR) (formerly the Annual Monitoring Report) provides information on the extent to which planning policies are being successfully achieved, measures performance against the programme set out in the Local Development Scheme and other relevant matters.

When is the AMR produced?

The council last published an AMR in September 2015, which reported on the year 2013/14.

The latest AMR covers the period Financial Year (FY) 2014/15 to FY 2018/19 and was published in October 2021. It covers all the previous financial years (which runs from 1 April to 31 March of the next year).

The latest AMR seeks to explain the changes in policy over that period, as well as the different approaches monitoring the effectiveness and performance of those policies.
