Local Plan Reg 19 - Policies Map

Atlas of Change

The ‘Atlas of change' sets out any proposed changes to the Adopted Policies Map in this Local Plan (Reg 19). These arise from all of the following:

  • a review of Green Belt and Metropolitan Open Land (MOL)
  • the addition of new Local Green Spaces in Acton
  • suggested amendments to Strategic Industrial Land (SIL) and Locally Significant Industrial Sites (LSIS)

Interactive Policies Map

A fully interactive version has also being developed alongside the Atlas of Change. In addition to the information above, it also displays each of the 82 Development Sites (or Site Allocations) in the Local Plan Reg 19. Helpful links from each site take you to the relevant pages in the Local Plan to aid navigation and accessibility.

To use the interactive version

Upon first loading the interactive map, it displays the following:

  • the final consolidated Green Belt and Metropolitan Open Land designations
  • the final consolidated Strategic Industrial Land and Locally Significant Industrial Sites designations
  • the existing and new Local Green Space designations
  • the proposed Development Sites

Using the menu on the left-hand side of the interactive map, users can turn on and off the proposed additions and deletions to GB/MOL and SIL/LSIS.

Users can also use the menu on the left-hand side of the interactive map to turn on and off a range of other map layers such as the boundaries of Ealing’s seven towns, town and neighbourhood centres, Public Open Space designations etc.

Clicking on development sites provides links to the Local Plan (Chapter 4) where users can find more information on each proposed development site.
