How should development be managed in Ealing's conservation areas?
Ealing has developed a generic management plan for conservation areas that sets out those generic policies and guidelines that apply to all of Ealing's conservation areas. This is in addition to any specific design guidance that may apply in particular conservation areas.
The generic management plan sets out:
- the conservation area designation and what this means in practice
- planning policies relevant to conservation areas
- managing development and handling of planning applications
- core principles for preservation and enhancement
