Proposal for an Acton Main Line Neighbourhood Development Plan

On 10 August 2015, the local planning authority received an application for Acton Main Line area to be designated as a neighbourhood area/forum.

Please note that the proposed Acton Main Line boundary overlaps with a different proposal for a Greater Central Acton Neighbourhood Development Plan submitted by a different organisation. This is also being consulted upon by the council, please see number six for further information.

Consultation on a Neighbourhood Area Boundary/Neighbourhood Forum

On 7 September 2015 the local planning authority published for consultation the proposed boundary and proposals to designate a neighbourhood forum for the Acton Main Line area. In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012, the consultation ran for 6 weeks and closed on the 19 October 2015.

A copy of the application letter and associated schedules is available here:

  • The application letter and the application schedules (including a map which identifies the area to which the application relates and a draft constitution for the forum). A list of supporters was also supplied to the council but has been withheld as the documentation contained personal information.

Representations are being  considered by the council and a decision to designate or not the area/forum will be made.

Please note that if a designation is made, no other organisation or body may be designated for that neighbourhood area until that designation expires or is withdrawn.
