For the final part of the Visions for Northolt improvements, we will be resurfacing Mandeville Road and Church Road in Northolt overnight in November.
Please can we ask for your patience and understanding because these works can be noisy and disruptive but once complete residents, cyclists and drivers will benefit from the improved road surface.
When and where?
There will be a full road closure of Church Road and Mandeville Road from 9pm until 5am as follows:
- phase 1: A40 Target Roundabout to Alderney Gardens 21 and 22 November
- phase 2: Alderney Gardens to Eastcote Lane North, 28 and 29 November
- phase 3: Eastcote Lane North to Ealing Road, 5 and 6 December
There will be lane closures on Mandeville Road on 7 and 8 December.
How will this affect you?
Mandeville Road - planned closure
- Major disruption, please avoid Mandeville Road / Target Roundabout if possible
- Through traffic: follow diversion via Petts Hill, Whitton Avenue West, Greenford Road and A40
- Buses diverted: nearest stops will be Church Road (Sycamore Close for southbound and McDonalds for northbound)/ Target Roundabout or Petts Hill
- Local access: residents use Rowdell Road or Eastcote Lane North (bus gates will be opened)
- Emergency access will not be affected
Surfacing works are weather dependent and if the conditions are not suitable it could affect the planned surfacing dates, alternatively problems can arise which affect or delay the programme. Therefore, the dates in this letter are provisional, signs on site will be kept up to date.
Parking
All parking within the works area will be suspended during surfacing works. Please park your vehicle(s) in an adjacent street or alternative parking area if you will need it when the road is closed. Any vehicles not moved out of the working area will be relocated to a neighbouring street and not be returned to its original position once works are complete.
