Bitterns Field/Brentside Footpath/Mayfield/Marnham Field/Greenford Island
Area within Brent River Park managed for its wildlife interest. There are footpaths across the meadows and beside the river, connecting Hanwell with Greenford.

Boles Meadow
Managed for nature conservation as part of the Brent River Park. Victorian photographs show the area as an old grazed meadow. The site lies below St Mary's Church, which has been a place of worship since the 10th century.

Brent Meadow
Part of Brent River Park, this is a large hay meadow next to the River Brent, extending from Brent Lodge Park and Churchfields. A haven for wildlife and an ideal place for quiet riverside walks.

Conolly Dell
Part of Brent River Park, this is a place for quiet reflection. This rest garden in the Brent River Park was formerly part of the grounds of Dr John Connolly who was the superintendent of St Bernard's Hospice. A path leads through Half Acre, Brent Meadow and Churchfields.
The entrance is on Church Road (follow footpath next to church)

Cuckoo Park
Unusually shaped like a horseshoe around Hanwell Community Centre. The children's playgrounds are at different levels on 1 side of the park, alongside an activity trail. A small statue of Charlie Chaplin commemorates his time spent at a nearby school (now the community centre). The park is also a registered Village Green.

Elthorne Park
A part of Brent River Park, this site features an old bandstand and a large Sarsen Stone excavated from the local area, which is displayed just inside the main entrance. Walk through into Elthorne Waterside and down to the canal to see an abundance of wildlife.

Elthorne Waterside, Lower Well Meadow, Well Meadow
Part of Brent River Park in the flood plain of the River Brent and the Grand Union Canal, Elthorne Waterside provides a sanctuary for wet meadow plants and wildlife. Popular for quiet recreation and dog walkers.
The entrance is from Elthorne Park - turn left at the Bambi sculpture for Well Meadow

FitzHerbert Walk
Part of Brent River Park, this is a pleasant riverside walk through woodland that follows the River Brent, connecting Brent Meadow with the Grand Union Canal towpath at the Hanwell Flight. Ideal for walking, picnicking and cycling.

Hanwell Meadows
Part of Brent River Park, this is a chain of canal-side meadows including Blackberry Corner, Jubilee Meadow, Trumpers Field and St Margaret’s. A unique area for wildlife and quiet recreation that is popular with walkers, dog walkers and picnicking.
Entrances on Trumpers Way (off Boston Road). and via the canal towpath through Hanwell and Fitz Herbert Walk from the Uxbridge Road
