Ealing Council offers various housing and support options to help you stay independent as you get older.
Staying at home
Many older people prefer to stay in their own homes.
There are services available to provide practical help to make you more comfortable.
Equipment and adaptations
If you have mobility difficulties, you may benefit from equipment or adaptations.
The council has occupational therapists who can assess your needs and provide services to help you manage your daily life.

Moving
If your home is too large or you need more support, you might consider moving to a smaller place.
Sheltered housing
Sheltered housing is for older people who want to live independently but need some support.
You usually need to be over 60 years old to qualify.
