Request a swipe card

To pay your rent in person, you need a rent payment swipe card.

You can use this card to make payments with cash or card at your local Post Office or PayPoint (look for the PayPoint sign). They will give you a receipt once you have paid.

You can apply for a new swipe card or to ask for a replacement if your card has been lost, stolen or damaged.

Before you start

Only complete this form if you are a council tenant and need a swipe card to pay your rent at the Post Office or PayPoint.

You will need

Your rent account reference number.

What happens next

Your request will be sent to our central rents team.

You will get your new or replacement card in the post within 5 to 10 working days.
