Customer access project

We are working to make it easier for residents to get help from our housing services.

Our goal is simple: when you need support, you should be able to get it quickly, easily and in a way that works for you.

What we want to improve

We are making changes so that:

  • information is clear and easy to understand: you should always know what a service does, what will happen next, and how to get help
  • everyone gets fair and respectful support: this includes help with language needs, accessibility, or extra support if you need it
  • you can contact us in the way that suits you: this could be online, by phone, in person, or with help from someone else
  • we communicate in a simple and honest way: you will be kept up to date about any changes or what to expect from our services
  • residents can help shape our services: your ideas and experiences help us improve, we invite you to take part in workshops, mystery shopping, action days and feedback sessions

How you can get involved - resident workshops

We run workshops with residents to learn about their real experiences.

In these sessions, people help us:

  • understand what it’s like to access housing services today
  • learn how services can support vulnerable residents better
  • improve website content and online access
  • test digital tools and make them easier to use
  • look at how complaints and feedback are handled

Many residents told us they valued being listened to and seeing their ideas lead to positive change.

Join our future workshops

We are continuing these workshops and would love more residents to take part.

Workshops are held both in person and online, during the afternoon and evening so more people can join.

Residents who attend get a voucher for their time.

If you want to join, you can:

Supporting you to get Involved

If you want to help us improve our housing services, and you have any needs you would like us to know about, please tell us.

If you agree, we will make a note of any language you prefer to use or any changes we need to make to help you take part.

Our resident activities are run in a hybrid way. This means you can join meetings and groups online or in person, depending on what you like.

We can also give you information in the language you prefer.
