Health Determinants Research Collaboration Ealing

Ealing’s Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) – also known as Evidence & Learning for Health – is a partnership between the council, local community groups, universities and local people.

The programme aims to help the council get better at doing and using research. It helps people use evidence when making decisions. HDRC uses research to understand how decisions affect people’s health and fairness. They also do new research when there is not enough information already.

It is funded for 5 years by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), alongside 30 other HDRCs across the UK, including 4 in London.
