E-bike and e-scooter parking consultation

The consultation runs from 4 February to 25 February 2026.

The consultation

The council plans to paint lines around all rental e-bike and e-scooter parking bays. These locations will replace nearby bays that you can only see on the operator's apps. This will help everyone see where to park. We are doing this in batches and plan to finish in summer 2027.

For the current batch, the council plans to add marked parking bays in 50 places. These bays are planned for March 2026.

Each bay will be on the road, not on the pavement. Most bays will be the size of a single parking space, 5 metres by 2 metres, unless we say otherwise.

Your views

We want to know if you think there are any problems with the planned parking bay locations. Your comments will help us decide the final places for the bays.

If you would like to share your views, email trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk

The consultation ends 25 February 2026.
