Renewal of vows

This ceremony is a chance for married couples to celebrate renewing their vows.

These ceremonies are often popular with a special wedding anniversary or for couples who have married abroad and wish to hold a ceremony back home for friends and relatives.

The ceremony

The ceremony is like a wedding or civil partnership ceremony, with an exchange of vows and rings.

Renewal ceremonies are available at Ealing register office or at one of our other approved venues or a venue or private venue of your choosing (subject to a risk assessment).

Register office staff will help arrange the ceremony.

The couple can make a choice of vows or promises.

A selection of poems, readings and music can also be included in the ceremony.

A souvenir record of the ceremony will be signed and presented during the event.

This first thing you will need to do is to contact the register office to buy a ceremony pack, this will cost £70.
