Ealing Council is working with local high schools to offer year 10 students (ages 14–15) a week of meaningful work experience.
We are looking for more local businesses to offer work experience and help give young people the opportunity to explore career pathways, build confidence, and start thinking about the world of work. You can take part in these 3 ways:
- In‑person placements (3 to 5 days) at your workplace - flexible hours between 9am and 5pm
- 1‑day “insight day” at your workplace – a visit for students to see your work environment, meet staff, hear career journeys, and try a practical activity
- In‑person workshop at Ealing Council - run a 10am – 3pm workshop with a 1‑hour lunch for 20–40 students
We have a dedicated team to support businesses with onboarding, risk assessments, safeguarding, and planning the work experience activities.
