The deadline for applications was Friday 31 January 2025.
Ealing’s Community Climate Grants programme is intended to help community organisations contribute to the borough net zero target by 2030. By making energy efficiency improvements, community organisations will see a reduction in their carbon emissions.
Community organisations can apply for a grant of up to £10,000.
Before you start
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you work for public benefit and are a not-for-profit organisation. You need to be based or predominantly active in the borough of Ealing.
The council will be prioritising the community organisations that are offering warm spaces for the first round of funding.
All eligible groups must have financial systems in place to allow for accurate management and transparency of auditing funds. For example, a community group bank account with accountable sign-off procedures and a treasurer or equivalent.
You can apply with lots of small projects but would need an application for each one unless they were linked. If you were planning on installing lots of small energy-efficiency measures at once, this would qualify as one project.
Before you apply, read Ealing’s community climate grants brochure for more information.
We would encourage these groups to apply:
- registered charity
- community and voluntary group (this includes parents, teachers and friends associations - PTFAs)
- co-operative
- faith and equalities group
- community interest company
- social enterprise
- tenant management organisation
- community benefit society
Please do not apply if you are a business.
The deadline for applications is Friday 31 January 2025.
