Corporate Plan and Community Strategy
'Ealing will be a borough of opportunity, where people enjoy living in clean, green and cohesive neighbourhoods, as part of a community where they are able to be safe, healthy and prosperous.'
This is the vision for Ealing that the council is working towards in partnership with key public sector organisations, residents, businesses, community and voluntary groups in the borough. It is being co-ordinated through the Local Strategic Partnership.
Two key plans show in detail what we will do to improve the quality of peoples lives. The Community Strategy (pdf) is about the big issues for local people, and the goals and objectives we will work together as partners to achieve in the next 10 years.
The councils four-year Corporate Plan (pdf) sets out clearly our priorities and how we will contribute to making the vision a reality. It has specific, ambitious targets, all of which have a major positive impact on the quality of peoples lives.
Each year an annual update (pdf) on the corporate plan is produced, highlighting what has been achieved that year and what the priorities are for the forthcoming year.
The strategy, vision and the targets have all been agreed after widespread consultation with people who live and work in the borough. They will be reviewed regularly to make sure that they continue to meet our communitys needs.
Business plans
All directorates within the council have responsibility for producing a three-year strategic business plan showing their key areas of activities that contribute to the overall council corporate plan.
