Ealing's Children and Young People's Board

The Children and Young People's Board acts as the highest non-executive level, strategic planning partnership for the provision of integrated children's services in the London Borough of Ealing.

It is chaired by Councillor Patricia Walker, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People and has representation from a wide range of key stakeholders including community and voluntary groups, health services, elected members, and head teachers. The board is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the borough's Children and Young People's Plan and for developing an approach to improving services for children that addresses inequalities, social exclusion and responsibilities to safeguard children.

The board is also responsible for ensuring improvements in services for children in Ealing are developed within the context of the Children Act 2004 and any further best practice guidance that may become relevant.
