Planning policy

Planning policy is responsible for the borough's policies for development. These are used as a basis for dealing with planning applications.

West London Waste Plan Submission

On the 30 July 2014, Ealing alongside its neighbouring West London boroughs submitted the West London Waste Plan to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The Secretary of State has appointed an independent Inspector, Andrew S Freeman BSc (Hons) DipTP DipEM FRTPI FCIHT MIEnvSc to conduct the examination to determine whether the plan is sound.

The hearing's sessions will start at 10am on 7 October 2014 in Committee Room 6, London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1UW.  More information regarding the examination process, and the submission documents can be viewed on the West London Waste Plan website.

Old Oak Common Overground Station

Transport for London is consulting on three proposals for a new Overground station to connect with the High Speed 2 (HS2), National Rail and Crossrail station at Old Oak Common.  For more information and to give your views go to the Transport for London website.

The consultation will run until 24 November 2014.
