If you are over 18 and live or work in Ealing, you can apply to become a community champion. Even if it is your first time volunteering - you do not need any previous skills or experience
You will be invited to an initial discussion with the public health team, and will be required to complete a DBS check
We give you the latest information on health and wellbeing in Ealing. You will get an e-newsletter and be invited to regular forum meetings connecting you with other champions and public health experts
You share this information with anyone in your community, through different methods which we can support with
You give us with feedback on public health messages, and what is and isn’t working in the programme
You do not have to dedicate a minimum or maximum number of hours per week, or for a set length of time. You can be a community champion for as long as you want. If you want to stop being a community champion, you can email us at any time, and we will take you off our database within ten working days.
