The Council is also consulting on a long-term plan for a new, permanent youth centre in Southall.
The consultation launched on Wednesday, 8 December and will run for 12 weeks, closing on Wednesday, 2 March 2022 at midnight.
Young people’s views, ideas and opinions are really wanted and welcomed on the draft youth plan to ensure that programmes and activities that are provided are what they want.
The views of partners and community are also sought on the provision of youth activities, youth centres and programmes following COVID, so these can also be included in the draft youth plan as well.
Views are also being sought on the site for a permanent location for a new purpose-built youth centre in Southall. Once a site is identified young people will be involved in its design.
The proposed temporary arrangement is to move the services from the current site of the Young Adult Centre (YAC) to the Dormers Hub, with services also being delivered in the Dominion Centre, while the new site is identified.
Councillor Kamaljit Nagpal, cabinet member for a fairer start said: “We want to make sure that the services available to young people of Ealing are what they want and need, so it’s really important that we get their views to help inform the results.
“We also want the views of voluntary and community groups that deliver youth services and to identify good practice both locally and nationally so that we truly engage young people and help our partners to do so as well.
