This follows confirmation that there have been cases identified as having the South African variant of COVID-19.
Public health support teams will be delivering free home test kits to approximately 5,500 households in the identified area. You can check if this includes where you live and whether you need to be tested via the postcode checker.
The delivery of tests to the area will take a few days to complete. The tests will be delivered and collected on the same day. If you get a positive result, you will be contacted by the national test and trace service and asked to self-isolate for 10 days.
You can find out more about the home test kits and the local mobile testing unit.
