Rubbish and recycling collection days will change over the holiday period. Check changes to collection days. Collections will return to normal on Monday, 14 January 2019.
The council’s re-use and recycling centres will be open as usual from 8am-4pm, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The customer service centre at Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, will be closed to visitors from 5pm on Monday, 24 December and reopen on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.
Residents will be able to access essential and emergency council services, such as social services, homelessness and grime busters, around the clock during the festive period by calling 020 8825 5000.
Other services available on 28 and 31 December, 9am-5pm include:

Libraries will close at 4pm on Monday, 24 December and reopen at 9am on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.
Acton Town Hall and Northolt Leisure Centre libraries will close at 3pm on Monday, 24 December.
Please note that West Ealing Library will be open on Saturday, 29 December between 10am and 5pm.
All council car parks and pay and display bays will offer free parking on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Visitor parking in resident bays within Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) will also be free on those days. Normal parking restrictions will apply on all other days.
Apart from Christmas Day, motorists are reminded that bus lanes, moving violation and parking restrictions on double yellow lines, loading bays and parking in other places where parking is prohibited remain in operation throughout the festive period.

The noise response team will be operating a service to deal with noise nuisance complaints. However, there will be no service on Christmas Day or New Years Day and varying hours on other days. A limited service on Boxing Day will deal with house and car alarms only. Contact them on 020 8825 8111.
As always, teams will be on standby to grit roads across the borough if required.
The borough’s sports and leisure centres will be open at different hours over Christmas.
