Ealing Council’s customer cash office will be closed permanently from October 1, 2018. The decision was made due to the significant reduction in customers using ther servce to make cash payments.
Cash office users are encouraged to use the numerous solutions available to make payments including direct debit, online payments and telephone payments. Alternative payment options will also include Paypoint, a solution which enables customers to pay by cash in many locations more conveniently located around the borough. This is beneficial for cash payers who frequently travel to Perceval House. Residents can locate their closest Paypoint outlet via https://www.paypoint.com/en-gb/consumers/store-locator
Councillor Jasbir Anand, cabinet member for business and community services said: “The decline in the number of customers that are paying with cash over the last few years combined with the numerous alternative payment methods available means we have taken the decision to close the customer service cash office. Staff will be on hand at Perceval House to help customers set up other payment methods including helping to locate their closest Paypoint option which may be more convenient for them.”
