Current funding for the voluntary and community services grants programme ends on 31 March 2019. The council and Ealing CCG are now consulting on proposals for a new programme for the allocation of funding for the four year period 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2023. The new programme will replace the 2015-19 VCS grants programme.
The priorities and proposals for the funding of services and activities are set out in the consultation documents.
The consultation is currently open and closes on 16 March 2018.
Views are being sought on the proposed funding programme. Information and views from both residents and organisations will be used to inform the development of the final funding streams, priorities and grant specifications. The full consultation document, as well as the draft Equality Analysis Assessments, is available on the council’s website.
Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council said: “The services and activities our voluntary and community sector deliver are greatly valued by those who receive them and the council. But the requirement for them can and does change and new demands need to be met. The consultation will inform the programme of funding for a four year period and the input from local residents and organisations is vital to identifying that programme.”
A consultation event about the programme will be held on Thursday 8 February 2018 between 4.30pm and 7pm in the Atrium of Perceval House. Please make sure to book for the event ahead of time as places are limited.
Because of the limited numbers, only two representatives per organisation can be accommodated. Names can be put on a reserve list to be contacted if spaces become available.
