Rubbish and recycling collection days will change over the holiday period. Check changes to collection days. Collections will return to normal on Monday, 15 January, 2018.
The council's re-use and recycling centres will be open as usual from 8am to 4pm over the Christmas period, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The customer service centre at Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, will be closed to visitors from 5pm on Friday, 22 December and reopen on Tuesday, 2 January 2018.
Residents will be able to access essential and emergency council services, such as social services, homelessness and grime busters, around the clock during the festive period by calling 020 8825 5000.
Residents can continue to access and contact the council via the council’s website over the Christmas and New Year period, www.ealing.gov.uk.

Libraries will be closed from Sunday, 24 December to Monday, 1 January inclusive. Acton Town Hall library will be open Saturday 30 December, 10am to 4pm. You can access library services via the library website www.ccslibraries.com and can also renew items by calling the automated 24 hour number 0333 370 4700.
All council car parks and pay and display bays will offer free parking on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and 1, January. Visitor parking in resident bays within controlled parking zones (CPZs) will also be free on those days. Normal parking restrictions will apply on all other days.
Apart from Christmas Day, motorists are reminded that bus lanes and parking restrictions on double yellow lines, loading bays, and parking in other places where parking is prohibited remain in operation throughout the festive period.
The noise response team will be operating a service to deal with noise nuisance complaints. However, there will be no service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. A limited service on Boxing Day will deal with house and car alarms only. Contact them on 020 8825 8111.
As always, teams will be on standby to grit roads across the borough if required.
