Rubbish and recycling should be left at the front of the property (not on the pavement) by 7am on the collection day.
The re-use and recycling centres at Stirling Road, Acton, and Greenford Road, Greenford, will stay open as usual throughout the bank holiday period. Residents disposing of DIY waste should note that the weighbridge closes at 3.30pm from 1 October to 31 March and at 4.30 from 1 April to 30 September.
Residents are reminded to look out for a personalised letter containing details of the upcoming changes to the rubbish and recycling collection service. Most households will switch to a new system using wheelie bins and alternate weekly collections from Monday, 6 June.
