Ealing’s 2015 election results

In Ealing Central and Acton The Labour Party candidate Rupa Huq won the seat from the Conservative Party by 274 votes. Steven Pound and Virendra Sharma held their seats in Ealing North and Ealing Southall, both with an increased majority.

The votes which were counted overnight, revealed a slight increase in turnout with 68% of the eligible electorate going to the polls, compared with 66% at the last general election in 2010.

Individual constituency results

In the by-election that was held in the Northfield ward at the same time, following the resignation of Councillor Mark Reen in March. The Conservative Party candidate Fabio Conti was chosen by the electorate to represent them on Ealing Council.

The Conservative Party retained its seat, totalling 12 of 69 on the council, with a turnout of 69.74%.
