Council honours victims of Paris terror attacks

Residents and council staff have also been asked to observe the minute's silence outside Ealing Town Hall at 11am on Monday, 16 November. The tribute will take place across the UK and Europe to remember those who died and show solidarity with the French people.

Councillor Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Council, said: "The scenes that we saw on our TV screens on Friday night were truly sickening. Our thoughts and sympathy are with the families of the 129 who have died, the hundreds that have been injured, and the French people.

“We hold the values of liberty, equality, and fraternity close to our hearts and they will not be shaken by this senseless brutality.”
