The consultation
Ealing Council is planning a new regional park for the borough. The regional park has the potential to become a destination for lovers of nature, culture, and play. It will be a space to replenish health, support the local economy and have fun. It will act as a green lung for London, improving air quality and strengthening climate resilience for future generations.
Based on this vision, the council had extensive engagement last year with residents, partners and other stakeholders to understand the opportunities, priorities, ideas, and concerns about the new regional park. A concept plan for the park was developed as a result.
Although the creation of the regional park will be done over time, the concept plan outlines some actions that can be taken early on to drive awareness and enthusiasm for the park. They provide an opportunity to test out ideas and help ensure the park will become something that best matches the needs of the borough's residents for years to come.

What happens next?
Once the consultation closes we will review and analyse your feedback. This will inform the regional park project as it progresses. The development of a regional park is a long-term project. The council is currently exploring funding opportunities to bring elements of the park to life.
