Press Reader - Online newspapers
Ealing libraries have recently subscribed to a new eNewspaper service called Press Reader, which provides over 7000 UK and international digital newspapers and magazines for free. Publications are from over 100 countries and in 60 languages. Articles can be translated into 18 languages and you can listen to today’s news by using the audio narration function.
In order to access the resource:
- Go to: www.pressreader.com/catalog
- Click sign in
- Select “Library or group” from the pop up box (this is important)
- Type “Ealing” into the search box and select “Library - Ealing”
- Enter library card number and click “sign in”
Users can also access Press Reader on their smart devices using the Press Reader app, which can be downloaded from the app store.
Please note: Users get a 30 day licence each time they log in using their library card. When users first log in, they will see a message that says “Complimentary access: 29 days 23 Hours”. To renew the licence all you have to do is log out and log back in using your library card.
