Resident permit prices

Like other London boroughs, our intention is to try and reduce the impact of motoring on the environment in which we live and work. Where cars are needed by residents, we aim to encourage the use of models that have a minimal impact on air quality and the environment. We expect to see a 13% reduction in parking permit applications between 2017 and 2020. We also hope to see the average NOX (Nitrogen Oxide) and CO2 emissions of vehicles using permits, to decrease.

For residents who already cycle, or are considering cycling more often, we will be introducing secure bike storage for the convenience of residents, to encourage cycling as a means of greener transport. In 2019, we have 23 secure bike storages and we plan a further 15 over the next 12 months. This infrastructure, along with the introduction of electric charging points, will be partially funded by sales of resident permits.
