Cycling

Travelling by bike is a healthy, low-cost and environmentally friendly way to get around London. Cycling can also be a quicker alternative to motorised transport - even now in central London traffic speeds average just 11mph.

Ealing Council has secured funding from Transport for London (TfL), as part of investment across the capital to create a healthier, cleaner and more inclusive city.

36% of car trips in Ealing are under 2km which you can cycle in around 10 minutes. By choosing to cycle you are choosing your health and cleaner air, while avoiding sitting in traffic.

There are number of schemes on offer to support new and experienced cyclists and we are continuously working to make Ealing a more cycle-friendly borough.
