Summer of Cycling
Ealing is celebrating pedal power in 2018 with the borough’s first Summer of Cycling. In addition to the Ticket to Ride events at the cycling festivals which took place at the beginning of July, there are social rides taking place throughout the summer.
Explore the area on two wheels, meet new people and discover more cycling routes with a qualified ride leader. Social rides will take place starting at different locations around the borough through out the summer.
Saturday, 8 September
The final Summer Discovery Ride will start from Churchfields Recreation Ground on Saturday, 8 September and will take a loop through the borough. Meet at the Band Stand in Churchfields Rec from 10am and the Ride will leave at 10.30am. The ride will return to the Band Stand around midday. There is no need to book, just turn up in good time before the start of the ride. Suitable for all abilities and families are welcome.
Ealing Cycling Campaign also offers free rides all year round and offers a range of led rides for all abilities, while the West London Breeze group hosts regular bike rides for women as part of the national HSBC Breeze Ride programme.
