Facts and figures provides information on the demographic, social and economic characteristics of Ealing, and comparisons to other areas in London and England.

The Sustainable Community Strategy sets out the goals and objectives the council will  work together with partners at the Local Strategic Partnership to achieve in the next 10 years (2006-16). It aims to address inequalities and improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works in the borough.

The council also engaged consultants Shared Intelligence to take a fresh look at the content of the Ealing Local Plans (formally known as LDF) and to provide assistance in producing an overarching narrative for development, growth and improvement in Ealing and for policies contained within the Local Plans. A report on Ealing LDF Core Strategy Review Integrating LB Ealing's Regeneration Ambitions was produced in Spring 2009.

The Planning Inspectorate conducted a frontloading visit to the LB Ealing on 19 January 2010. The purpose of the visit was to consider what has been done so far in the preparation of the Development (or Core) Strategy and to identify those matters and questions that seem potentially problematic at this stage in terms of the soundness of the strategy. The Inspector’s note sets out specific advice for the council based on the particular circumstances and questions raised by officers and it should not be taken as pre-judging the outcome of the examination of the submitted core strategy in any way.

The Authorities Monitoring Report (AMR) provides information on the extent to which planning policies are being successfully achieved, measures performance against the programme set out in the Local Development Scheme and other relevant matters.
