Following the completion of its first five year term, the Central Ealing Neighbourhood Forum has applied to be re-designated for another five years, and you are invited to express your views on this proposal.

7 October 2016 to 18 November 2016

The council consulted on its draft Southall Green SPD. Alongside the Southall Green SPD the council and Central Ealing Neighbourhood Forum consulted on the proposed Central Ealing Neighbourhood Plan (CENP). Following the conclusion of the six-week consultation period a hearing was called by the appointed examiner which took place on the 16 February 2017. 29 April 2016 to 27 May 2016

The council submitted its CIL Draft Charging Schedule to the Planning Inspectorate. Following submission, a four week consultation period begun on the Statement of Proposed Modifications. The relevant submission and evidence base documents can be found below.

4 December 2015 to 22 January 2016

The council undertook a post-hearing consultation on the main modifications to Ealing's Planning for Schools DPD. The post-hearing consultation was accompanied by a updated addendum to the Sustainability Appraisal.

10 August to 21 September 2015

The council undertook a pre-hearing consultation on the main modifications to Ealing's Planning for Schools DPD. The pre-hearing consultation was accompanied by a brief addendum to the Sustainability Appraisal (SD5a Addendum).

27 March to 8 May 2015

The CIL Draft Charging Schedule and supporting evidence was published for consultation alongside the Draft Legal Agreements SPD.

February to April 2015

The Southall Gateway draft SPD forms an update to the adopted Southall OAPF specifically to chapter 4.2 'Southall Gateway'.

Planning for Schools DPD, publication version - This iteration of the plan is the version of the plan that the council intends to formally submit to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for independent examination.

Mayor of London consults on Old Oak and Park Royal Planning Framework - The Mayor of London opened a consultation on a supplementary planning document intended to guide redevelopment in the Old Oak and Park Royal Opportunity Area (OOPROA).

Proposed Local Flood Risk Management Strategy - The strategy is a document which sets out a clear vision of how flood risk is managed across the borough. It directly considers the risk of flooding from surface water, groundwater and ordinary watercourse sources.

The West London Waste Plan published for consultation the Main Modifications arising from the public examination which took place in October 2014.

The Local Planning Authority published for consultation the proposed boundary and proposals to designate a neighbourhood forum for Central Acton.

September 2014 to November 2014

Transport for London consulted on three proposals for a new overground station to connect with the High Speed (HS2), National Rail and Crossrail station at Old Oak Common.  For more information go to the Transport for London website.

The Mayor of London carried out a consultation on the boundary and powers of the proposed Mayoral Development Corporation for Park Royal, which occupies land in Ealing, Brent and Hammersmith and Fulham.  For more information, go to the Transport for London website.

February 2014 to April 2014 

West London Waste plan -  This was prepared jointly with five other west London boroughs. This development plan document will provide an up-to-date policy framework to assess planning applications for waste management facilities. For further information please visit the West London Waste Plan website

Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) – Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule -  CIL is a charge/levy on new development, the purpose of which is to help fund the provision of strategic infrastructure in the charging area.

Draft Residential Gardens SPD -  This SPD mainly serves to amplify the provisions relating to garden development that are set out in Ealing’s Local Plan, which seeks to secure sufficient and quality provision of garden space in a variety of forms including balconies, roof gardens and terraces in new development and sets the parameters for appropriate development on existing garden space.

Regarding the draft Acton Town Hall and Surroundings SPD, 119 representations were received during the consultation period by 31 individuals and organisations. An amended report has since been approved by Cabinet on 7 June 2011 (item 07) as a material consideration for planning applications at, and around the site.
