Proposal for a Central Acton Neighbourhood Development Plan

On 1 September 2015, the Local planning Authority received a revised application for Greater Central Acton to be designated as a neighbourhood area/forum. At the same time an earlier application that was submitted on 18 September 2014 was withdrawn.

Please note that the proposed Greater Central Acton boundary overlaps with a different proposal for an Acton Main Line Neighbourhood Development Plan submitted by a different organisation. This is also being consulted upon by the council.  See number seven for further information.

Consultation on a Neighbourhood Area Boundary/Neighbourhood Forum:

On 7 September 2015 the local planning authority published for consultation the proposed boundary and proposals to designate a neighbourhood forum for the Greater Central Acton area. In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012, the consultation ran for six weeks and closed on 19 October 2015.

Representations are being considered by the council and a decision to designate or not the area/forum will be made.

Please note that if a designation is made, no other organisation or body may be designated for that neighbourhood area until that designation expires or is withdrawn.

Background information

For information, the original application was submitted on 15 October 2014 and In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012, a consultation ran for six weeks.  It closed on the 26 November 2014. A copy of the original application letter and associated schedules is available here:
