Adult social care

An additional adult social care precept has continued for the 2024 to 2025 financial year for councils providing social care to adults. The government has allowed an increased in the council tax up to an extra 2% in comparison to last year’s council tax charge. This precept forms part of the amount to pay for 2024 to 2025 and is included within instalments. The income from this additional change is used specifically for adult social care services.
