Tidy clearance scheme
If you leave your home clean and clear when you move out, you may be eligible for a £100 tidy clearance bonus.
Eligibility
In order to claim the incentive, there are some important things you must do:
- give your housing officer four weeks' written notice to end your tenancy
- make a claim to the voids team within four weeks of your notice to quit expiring
- leave your property (including loft space, sheds, outside buildings, garages and gardens) clear of all rubbish, floor coverings, furniture and any other unwanted possessions
- ensure your property is left in a good condition and in a fit state of repair
- clear any rent arrears
