Mediation

If you are having problems with your neighbours or with others in your community, mediation can help you resolve your difficulties.

Ealing Council works in partnership with the local charity, Ealing Mediation Service (EMS).

EMS is not part of Ealing Council. It is independent, neutral, confidential, and it is free to Ealing residents.

EMS has professionally trained community mediators available across the borough. They will first meet separately with those involved in a dispute, either in person or by video conference, and then where appropriate bring those people together to talk, listen and resolve their differences. If your neighbour does not want to be involved in mediation, EMS may offer you a one-to-one session. This is where a mediator will help you consider what you can do next to improve the situation and move forward.
