Notice is hereby given that a casual vacancy exists for the office of councillor for the Hobbayne ward of Ealing Council.
The Hobbayne ward by-election will take place on Thursday, 16 September 2021.
To vote in this election you must:
- Be registered to vote within the Hobbayne ward. The last date to register was midnight on Tuesday, 31 August 2021
- Be 18 or over on the day of the election (polling day)
- Be a British, Irish, Commonwealth or EU citizen.
Register to vote
If you are not registered to vote, please register online www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. It takes around five minutes to register and residents will need their date of birth and national insurance number.
Voting by post or proxy
If you are unable to vote in person at your local polling station on election day you can apply for a postal or proxy vote.
The deadline to apply for a postal vote, or to amend/cancel an existing postal or proxy vote, was 5pm on Wednesday, 1 September 2021.
The deadline to apply for a new proxy vote, where a voter nominates a registered eligible person to cast a vote on their behalf, is 5pm on Wednesday, 8 September 2021.
