Other community funding opportunities

Do Something Good

Do Something Good is a platform that:

  • Brings people, projects and funding together
  • Helps residents to help themselves with any ideas to improve neighbourhoods
  • Promotes community projects and local opportunities.

If you have an idea for local improvements in your area, then the Do Something Good platform can offer support by putting you in touch with others in your area, provide practical advice, promotion and sources of funding.

Fundraising

Do Something Good promotes a range of fundraising opportunities, with many external funding pots available for local community improvement projects. Ealing 4 Fundraising is a funding portal designed to help navigate people through all the grants available to support community projects. Anyone with a Ealing postcode can register and the portal will show you any available funding options that are best suited to your project.

Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding is a way to raise money from a large number of people through online pledges/ fundraising to projects. Ealing Connects aims to help communities shape Ealing through crowdfunding, in partnership with Spacehive, by funding projects that will bring unused or under used spaces back into use.

Transform Your Space

Transform Your Space is a £100,000 fund available for community-based projects to transform and revive local spaces in the London borough of Ealing. We are inviting applications from community groups keen to transform spaces the whole community can take pride in. Applications are encouraged that can demonstrate a positive difference in the borough, such as working with neighbours to spruce up an alleyway or planting bulbs at a local green space.

Ward forums

Ward forums give you the chance to have your say on the local issues that are important to you. Led by ward Councillors, the 23 forums are open to all Ealing residents, meeting at least twice a year to address local concerns and issues such as community safety, traffic, transport schemes, parks and street improvements.

Ward forums have an annual budget of £20,000 per ward available for local improvement projects to benefit wards.
