Sports hall
This area can accommodate a range of sports including table tennis, badminton, netball, volleyball and basketball. This space is available to hire, to check availability please contact the centre.

Bostons gym
Eightyfive fitness stations including resistance machines and free weights.

Bostons female gym
Women can enjoy a gym workout with a range of equipment with 25 fitness stations. An instructor will be available in the gym during the following times.

Mon-Fri: 8am-10pm
Sat-Sun: 9am-7pm

Both gyms benefit from integrated television screens on cardio stations.

Also available to members:

Sauna
There are two saunas (one male and one female) located in the changing areas. Sessions can be booked at reception.

Class descriptions

Asian dance fusion
This is a cardiovascular session that tone and sculpts the body all set a mix of the latest music from around the world.

Bhangra aerobics 
This is a cardiovascular session that tone and sculpts the body all set to the latest Bhangra music.

Body blitz
A fantastic easy to follow aerobic session guaranteed to get your heart racing, burn calories, tone and sculpt the body.

Body conditioning  
This is a great session utilising weights and core stability exercises to tone and shape all the major muscle groups.

Core stability and abs
This is a workout that focuses on toning and developing the core region in particular the abdominal muscles and the lower back utilising various core stability exercises.

Express Yoga
A express version of the yoga class. The ancient Indian method of spiritual and physical meditation and relaxation. A perfect way to end your day.

Fitness testing session   
A great opportunity to get your current fitness levels tested. This can then be used to produce a tailored individual fitness programme.

Kundalini yoga
A slightly longer version of the yoga class. The ancient Indian method of spiritual and physical meditation and relaxation.
A perfect way to end your day.  

Legs, bums and tums
Targeting the lower body muscles, this class will help tone and reshape thighs, tighten buttocks and firm abdominal muscles.

Pilates
Pilates represents a unique approach to exercise that develops body awareness, improving and changing the body's postural and alignment habits and increasing flexibility and ease of movement.

Spinning
This is an fantastic session to build up your fitness levels. This session uses cycling techniques to really target and promote fat loss.

Step aerobics    
This is an intensive workout that uses stepping techniques to really target and tone up the lower body.

Staying Active - activities for older adults
The Staying Active programme for older adults offers a range of daytime activities including bowls, table tennis and badminton. Activity sessions are also organised through the Southall Outreach programme for both adults and juniors, and the Active for Health GP referral programme. Women only sessions offer an opportunity to train in a female only environment.

London Progress Table Tennis club
This premier London Table Tennis club has made Southall Sports Centre its home. The club has about 100 members, ranging in age from four to 70 years. Players of all abilities are welcome. In partnership with Active Ealing the club hopes to develop its junior section, which in the past has produced national players. The club has won the British premier league for the last six years and also has teams in several local leagues. For further information contact the club secretary, Jon Kaufman, on 07050 04267.

Activity descriptions

Teen boxercise
This is a practical fitness session which involves boxing techniques, aerobic endurance and body conditioning.

Teen work out session 
This session involves a fun workout using a variety of equipment and fitness stations in the dance studio and gym.  It will improve your stamina and strength and is a good all round fitness activity.

Volleyball
Have a go at this sport with expert coaching from a local club player.

Cricket

**Gym training sessions
A gym workout can help you look good, feel good, and is great way to meet new people whilst improving your health and fitness. Watch your favourite TV programmes on our plasma TVs or listen and enjoy the tunes on our music system while you workout. To become a member of the gym you must first complete a gym induction. Induction cost: £3.20 (£2.50 JLP) one-off fee. The sessions are supervised by qualified instructors, who will offer guidance and advice on training programmes to suit your needs. This centre also has a women-only gym so there’s no need to feel intimidated or shy. Get a group of friends together and enjoy the fun of leading an active, healthy lifestyle.

Elite basketball
This session is aimed at elite players who live in the borough and have the ability to represent Ealing in the summer youth games competition. Participation is by invite only but any interested players can attend the 4-6pm session before hand to see if they qualify. This session is free of charge to those selected to attend.

Street dance
Learn all the new moves, techniques and skills needed to help you become the next street dance star. This session takes place in our fully air conditioned dance studio with mirrors, sprung floor and built in sound system.
